Want to jump in a boat and go to parts of the Florida Everglades where very few people have fished? Then book a trip and let us show you what Everglades National Park has to offer. From Flamingo Marina north to Chokoloskee, we fish it all! This area consists of back bays, rivers and mangrove shorelines that can take a lifetime to fish. We fly fish and spin cast secluded areas that provide opportunities to catch tarpon of all sizes, snook, red fish, triple tail and numerous other species.
The Everglades is an ecosystem unlike any other in North America. If any place could truly be called a fisherman’s paradise, this is it.
The Everglades encompass 7,800 square miles at the southernmost tip of Florida. With a landscape that ranges from freshwater lakes and canals to sawgrass marshes, pinelands, brackish cypress swamps and mangroves, the Everglades support an incredible diversity of life. This includes both freshwater and saltwater fish, which intermingle in many areas thanks to the Everglades’ unique mixture of fresh and saltwater. Everglades National Park encompasses and preserves most of the southern Everglades. The remainder of the region includes state and federal wildlife refuges, preserves, forests and parks, and some private lands.
We offer skiff and bay boat trips in the Everglades. No matter if you are a hard core sight fisher on fly and light tackle or a novice saltwater angler we can put you on the fish of a lifetime. There are endless opportunities to bend a rod in Everglades National Park and we can show anglers of all skill level a great time!
The Florida Everglades are where the fresh water meets the salt and Flywater Expeditions will show you a fishing trip of a lifetime!
